It is absolutely incredible, but completely true story how an ordinary young prince, has fallen from grace for his progressive views, fighting again for a place in the sun. Review (25.08-31.08)

Our team wishes you a Good Sunday!
This is Skaz with a weekly review of "Bad Manners" development. Another week (25.08-31.08) has passed.
* Our character artist has mostly finished with emotions of our second new girl - started cutting art into pieces and implementing it.
* Programmed an important navigation element of the game (thanks to Axil)
* Received art of the exotic fruit, along with an important magic item for the Genie's shop (thanks to Taezin)
* Found a background image for the new game location (thanks to Pavlin)
* The game day has lengthen - previously there were only 2 parts of the day (morning and evening), now each day includes 5 parts (from 8 to 24 hours)
* The artist, who was going to create a startup splash screen, was playing games with the development team for some time and now has completely disappeared. So we are again seeking for a new artist.
* A couple of new dialogues were added into the initial (zero) phase of education. As a whole, initial part of the game is fully tested and works correctly, but most dialogues are replaced with stubs at the moment. Further work on this part is temporarily postponed - concentrating on cutting new art and adding it in into the game.
On August 13, I'll be going on a 2 week vacation to a wild place, where Internet access could be a problem. During this time, development process will continue, but at a less pace. Before the vacation, I expect that art for the second girl should be fully finished and included into the game, so the artist could start on the third one.

Well, if you know Russian (or just would like some extreme when playing an ero game) you can download it using the link from the first message in this topic (direct link).
AFAIK, there is no non-russian version at the moment, so it would be hard playing a game without understanding what you need to do now or next.

Development news (Avg 01 - Avg 07)
Hi all!
This is Skaz with a weekly review of "Bad Manners" development. Another week (Avg 01 - Avg 07) has passed.
* This week our artist has finished with new hot character # 2. We are making up for the previous delay in art development with an accelerated pace. We probably will be able to show you results in the nearest future. When will it happen? – Everything depends on you – one needs to guess who has been drawn. Exciting details (in Russian !!!) can be found here >>>.
There were already several attempts (one guy supposed that the character is a deer )… I’ll give you a key clue – this character IS NOT a DEER! And it is not a girl on the deer or the girl under the … uh … Well, this info should be enough already.
* New character art is cut into pieces completely, but not fully integrated into the game (e.g. pictures are added into the game sources, but are not called from the code)
* The artist has started working on the character #3. Initial sketch is shown in the closed forum thread. As usual, Patrons can express their suggestions.
* There is a good progress with the game code. Statistics display screen is programmed completely and a new mini game is almost finished (thanks to Axil).
* Have started a poll about Android version on Monday. According to the results, this platform is not in high demand at the moment, so “Bad Manners” v. 0.3 will not be released for Android. However, the game is developed with possibility of running it not only on Desktop PC, so Android version will be released in time. Our team thanks everyone who participated and shared their opinion.
* Many thanks to V_anabioze from our forum, who decided to help with a difficult task – weekly news translation into English. First development report in English was released last week. (Translator note – actually first English report was posted on Tuesday 2016-08-02 – so it is technically this week )
As I wrote last time, I’ll go on a vacation at the end of this week. I’d prefer to dedicate all this free time to the game development, but you know how it happens with family gatherings, arrivals, departures and so on. I’m not sure if I would be able to post new reports on 14th and 21st of August (next Sunday and the one after that), as there could be issues with Internet access. I’ll try to think of something to overcome this, but delays are still possible.
Nevertheless, game development will not stop. Our artist will continue working on the 3rd new character (translator note - this character is definitely not a deer ) and next education phases will be added to the current story.

As to Android, it is early in development, so, not a priority. That said, interesting option (I go on trip quite regulary, and so dont have other access than touch devices, while not that closed (depend on what additional equipment Ive bring along).
In any case, great to know the game is coming along.

Hi all!
This is Skaz with a weekly review of "Bad Manners" development (Avg 08 - Avg 14).
As I warned last time, due to upcoming vacation (translator’s note – lucky Skaz) less work was done this week.
Nevertheless, status is as follows:
* New mini game is fully coded (Thanks to Axil). It still needs some good art, but this part of work depends on our specialist of pencil and photoshop.
* Received art of another object for the game shop. It is a very important item, without which our education couldn’t take place at all. (Thanks to taezin)
* Continue working on the main plot. Added several new events, while changing order of the existing ones. The main story line develops more smoothly now.
* Continue working on new character #3. Received art of the whole person in color.
* As we are on a topic about new characters – let’s talk about new character #2. All who wished to see his/her/its art had a chance to guess who it is. There were several attempts during the week and current status is the following (based on messages in Russian and English sections of the forum):
- 2 points for Anna;
- 1 point for Martha;
- 1 for Merinda;
- 1 for Snow white;
- Can’t say for sure, which character was chosen by the only girl on our forum – it could be Anna, Merinda, Little Red Riding Hood and all other unmarried girls, who hasn’t sang songs and hasn’t interacted with wild animals (translator’s note – a very strange last part of a description, as it is almost impossible not to sing or interact with animals for fairy tales characters from modern cartoons)
- 1 point for the snowman;
- And also only 1 point was given for the star of our previous review –the Deer
As the list above includes the correct answer, art of this new character will be posted soon, if no issues with Internet arise. In worst case scenario it could be delayed for several days, but your patience will be definitely rewarded.

My holiday is in full swing; moreover, one who helped with development also went on a vacation. So this week we have done a moderate amount of work . Nevertheless:
* Our artist sent detailed sketches of clothing and linen for heroine #3. Thanks to pavlin we have created a list of needed changes so this art is currently updated.
* Received corrected art for one of the items for Genie’s store (thanks to taezin).
* Despite the fact that I’m currently in a remote location (translator’s note – send our hello to penguins nearby, if any ) I was able to connect to the Internet from time to time. So this week I’ve posted a new screenshot from a development version of the game with our two new heroines – they are Elsa and Anna from Arendelle. We appreciate all your opinions on the art! There were some suggestions on game screen improvements - our team will check what could be done with it.

* Got several icons of active regions (thanks to SaXarok). Part of them are already included into the game, others are being finalized at the moment.
* There was a poll on our forum about how you were playing in the previous version (0.2) of the “Bad manners”. Results shows (viewtopic.php?f=33&t=206) that most of the people (about 90%) were using mouse or touchpad of their PC. As was promised earlier, we will make life easier for players from mobile devices in the new game version, but given the feedback from this survey, the interface will continue to be developed mainly for PC gamers.
* After the release of version 0.20 there were compliances about a limited number of descriptions for the empty locations. Rejoice! The number of such descriptions is greatly increased. A new mechanism was implemented this week that allows to conveniently change them depending on the training phase. And we will add such descriptions for each phase (and in some cases – several per a phase). This way you will feel a change in the atmosphere of the college not only when passing game events but even by just getting to the location.
This is all. My vacation will end soon, and I will return to civilization. I hope the speed of game development will increase to the normal level next week.

Our artist, who has recently created two characters for the new game version and has almost finished the third one, announced that due to personal reasons he leaves this project and freelance for a time being. It is not clear, if the art for the 3rd heroine will be fully done or not, but I will do my best for this work to be finished - there is only a quarter of initial amount left.
* Thus, we are again searching for a new artist, who can create graphics on par or better then we currently have:

As development game build has a lot of changes (including a completely new game engine), our team will use reviews from this alpha test to adjust and improve the game.

This is Skaz with a weekly review of "Bad Manners" development (Sep 05 - Sep 11).
The most important news – we have found a new artist. Last time it took about a month to find a new one, now we managed to do so in a week time! (translator’s note – New recruiting level unlocked )
Here is what happened this week in more details:
* Received sketches from our new artist for the 3rd new character of the game (the most difficult one up to this time). According to our supporters this artist is better than the previous one (our team appreciates comments on the sketches from pavlin, Alerad, Naota and White). We are waiting for the final design, which is planned to be finished by the end of this month. As usual, new art will be published for sponsors in the closed forum branch.
* Received new items for the shop (thanks to taezin) (Translator’s note – Skaz, are you using Aliexpress or eBay for such fast order and delivery?)
* Got new interface icons from SaXarok. He again managed to convey emotions, even in a small picture.
* Rewrote mechanics of displaying active regions on the game screen (thanks to Axil). It is being tested at the moment. This should significantly accelerate scenes development.
* Coded game events for the phase #1. Continuing with phase #2.
* Created some new dialogs for these phases (corresponding emotions were not added yet).
Our main objectives for the next week are the same: increase speed of art creation (if possible) and code initial phases of the education process. (Upon completion first 3-4 phases would be forwarded to our testers).

The most important news – we have found a new artist. Last time it took about a month to find a new one, now we managed to do so in a week time! (translator’s note – New recruiting level unlocked )
Here is what happened this week in more details:
* Received sketches from our new artist for the 3rd new character of the game (the most difficult one up to this time). According to our supporters this artist is better than the previous one (our team appreciates comments on the sketches from pavlin, Alerad, Naota and White). We are waiting for the final design, which is planned to be finished by the end of this month. As usual, new art will be published for sponsors in the closed forum branch.
* Received new items for the shop (thanks to taezin) (Translator’s note – Skaz, are you using Aliexpress or eBay for such fast order and delivery?)
* Got new interface icons from SaXarok. He again managed to convey emotions, even in a small picture.
* Rewrote mechanics of displaying active regions on the game screen (thanks to Axil). It is being tested at the moment. This should significantly accelerate scenes development.
* Coded game events for the phase #1. Continuing with phase #2.
* Created some new dialogs for these phases (corresponding emotions were not added yet).
Our main objectives for the next week are the same: increase speed of art creation (if possible) and code initial phases of the education process. (Upon completion first 3-4 phases would be forwarded to our testers).

Due to the increased workload on my job (translator's note – looks similar) game development speed has somewhat decreased, but don’t worry – it hasn’t stopped:
* Our artist is working on sketches of all needed details for the new character – work in progress at the moment;
* Several new interface icons were received (thanks to SaXarok);
* Polishing code for active regions display on the game screen (appreciate input from Axil on this);
* There was an interesting discussion in the closed part of the forum about education process development in the college from our game (translator's note – this statement is not foggy enough, in my opinion );
* Coded a test utility for events debugging;
* Coded events for the 2nd phase of the education process. Still need to add the 3rd phase, before we could create build for internal testing: it would still be verified by developer first before sending it to our selected testers;
* Several new dialogs and events were added. Bad manners v 0.2 included 50 events of different sizes, now we already have 278 events and development of the new version is not finished.
Our team is planning to receive new art for the character next week.
Our main weekly goal is to finish coding the 3rd phase of the education.

This is Skaz with a weekly review of "Bad Manners" development (Sep 26 - Oct 02).
We have a moderate progress this week.
* Art preparation for the new heroine is still in progress, but we have finished with quite a lot of smaller ones:
a) Received several items for the store, mostly for cooking (thanks taezin);
b) Redrawn several interface buttons along with every princess from the mini-game (capture the princess), which was the only source of income in the previous version. Now it will be one of several possible ways to earn money in the upcoming game version (Thanks to SaXarok, who has done a huge amount of work). Now all art figures in a mini-game are completely original.
* Implemented several interface changes, so it would be more user-friendly.
* Finally finished with game events for phases 0 to 3. We are not going into a lot of details on this one, but it is a really a big step in development process – it was one of the key steps before our team could prepare an alpha build. During these phases, 2 nobles will appear along with the Dorothy. And not – these are not the girls I’ ve already shown. Actually – one of them is not the one we are talking about
*Finished with dialogs for the phase 0 – it is fully ready for the Alpha- test
* Started working on dialogs for the big event in phase 9 (Thanks to pavlin)
During next two weeks we are going to concentrate mostly on dialogs for the phases 1-3, will implement some adjustments to the part before college (introduction of the several new heroines requires changes for the story before main hero reaches the college) . We are also expecting to receive more art for the new character.

* We have managed to come to an agreement with our artist that she will finish character #3, which was left unfinished by our previous artist - have already received sketches for all missing details. With current progress, the 3rd heroine should be fully finished by the next week. Afterward our team will need to finish with only 1 more heroine and all characters for game version 0.3 will be ready.
* Was working on requirements for the last new girl (#5). Thanks a lot for the pavlin’s help.
* Again received new items for the game shop. Some of them from previous game version were greatly improved (thanks to SaXarok). Some new ... uh more intimate items were also added (thanks to taezin).
* Reworked art in the new mini-game: during initial internal test we were using pictures from Internet, now these princesses’ pictures are being replaced with original art (thanks to SaXarok).
* Art for heroine #4, which was finished last week is cut into pieces and integrated to the game code.
* Reprogrammed Hans’ journey from the beginning up to reaching the college. Reworked and added new dialogs, hotspots and choices for this game part according to the story changes. Now we have a finished version of the game from the beginning till the end of the 2nd training phase, which is ready for internal testing.
* We hope to finish coding 3rd training phase next week to begin internal test of all finished game parts. Our team is also planning to receive art for heroine #3, so she would be fully finished. We will probably create a new pool on her identity and if guess from one of you is correct – will show art in the open part of the forum.
